Cafe Cre Asion

I spotted first spotted this cafe whilst walking along the backstreets of Sydney, trying to get away from the noise of the traffic whilst walking. They have an extensive range of macarons and serve Single Origin Coffee.

A macaron the diameter of a 20c piece is $2.70. You can get multipack sizes like 8 for $21. Yuzu (a Japanese citrus like fruit) is one of their most popular sellers. Tap water is available from communal jugs.

The soy flat white ($4) is nice and strong, with an almost liquorice like aftertaste.

The normal cow flat white ($3.50) satisfies my Melbourne based friend.

Other items that I want to spend some more time withup include green tea au lait and their range of interesting looking shortbread style biscuits and. A packet of five caramel and walnut biscuits is approx $6. There is a small surcharge for paying by credit card.

The comment was “it really is very Melbourne”. Despite being tucked down a small side street, there is quite a lot of passing trade.
