And yet Gibbo says …

These posters started popping up around the electorate of Blacktown three days before the actual polling day. This is the first time I have seen such a poster.

Paul Gibson, who has been the member for Blacktown since 1999, was rumoured to have been forced to retire so that John Robinson, former NSW union leader, could be parachuted into a safe Labor seat. He is tipped to become the next NSW Labor leader, if Kristina Keneally gets the push.

I didn’t particularly agree with the way Robbo was parachuted into Blacktown. On the other hand, I’m not too sure how effective a representative for Blacktown Paul Gibson was anymore, considering that he lives on the central coast.

Anyway, it appears that this poster was produced in the last stages of this campaign to hose down rumours, and prove to the voters that Gibbo jumped, and wasn’t pushed.
